Privacy policy — Evogenesis
Effective: 24 September 2026 · Last updated: 24 September 2026 · Applies to the app pl.szady.evogenesis and this website
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data processed in Evogenesis is DevePolers, Uniszowice 75E, Poland. Contact for data matters: devepolers@gmail.com.
2. The short version
The game never asks for your name, email address or phone number, and there is no account with a password. All progress is saved on your phone, and the game works offline. When a network is available, the device receives an anonymous identifier under which a copy of your progress is kept in the cloud. The game has no analytics and no crash reporting. Ads appear only when you tap a reward offer yourself.
3. What data is processed and why
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game save on your phone: progress, planets, species book, items, sound and tutorial settings | Gameplay; files in the app's private storage | So the game remembers where you left off. It does not leave your phone, except for the copy described below |
| Anonymous account identifier (Firebase Authentication, anonymous sign-in) | Created automatically on first launch with network access | Linking the cloud copy of your progress to one installation of the game |
| Cloud copy of progress (Cloud Firestore): level, points, credits, sparks, traits, items, specimens, species book, planet seeds and names, completed goals, chosen emblem, the state of life on your planets | Gameplay | Backup of your progress |
| Planet card: the planet name you chose, emblem, level, number of species, planet age and kinds of land | Published together with the cloud copy | The "Neighbourhood" map where players see other worlds |
| Market offers and sent spores (species name, its genome, emblem, price) | Only when you use the market or send a spore yourself | Trading specimens and items, sending species to other players' planets |
| Device advertising ID (AAID) and app set ID, IP address, approximate country-level location, ad impression and interaction data, ad SDK diagnostics (e.g. launch time) | Google AdMob | Showing the rewarded ad, billing, ad measurement, preventing ad fraud |
| Your ad consent choice | Google User Messaging Platform | Remembering whether ads may be personalised |
The game does not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, health or payment data. There are no purchases in the game. The only permission the app asks for is internet access.
Android backup. If backup is enabled in your phone's settings, the system may include the game save in the backup on your Google account. That backup is managed by Google and your phone settings, not by us.
4. What other players see
Only the planet card is public (name, emblem, level, number of species, planet age, kinds of land), plus whatever you put on the market or send as a spore. Everyone can see your planet's name — do not put your full name, address or phone number in it. If you see a name that infringes someone's rights or is offensive, email devepolers@gmail.com and we will remove it.
5. Ads and your consent
The game shows rewarded ads from Google AdMob only. They appear only after you tap a button that says what you will get — never on their own. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt play.
If you play in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, after the tutorial you will see a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). Your choice decides whether ads are personalised. You can change it at any time: tap your emblem in the top-left corner of the game and choose Ad privacy settings. Google's privacy policy for ads: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
6. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — the anonymous account, cloud copy of progress, planet card, market and spores. Online features don't work without this data; offline play does.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — showing a non-personalised ad you asked for and preventing ad fraud.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — personalised ads and related measurement. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
7. Who we share data with
Data goes only to providers needed to run the game:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) — the anonymous account and the copy of progress. firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform — rewarded ads and consent.
As an infrastructure provider, Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not sell data and do not pass it to data brokers.
8. How long we keep data
- The save on your phone — until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
- Cloud copy of progress, planet card, offers and spores — while the anonymous account exists, or until deleted at your request (section 9).
- Advertising data — according to Google AdMob's policies.
9. Your rights and deleting your data
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Deleting your data: email devepolers@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion — Evogenesis". The game doesn't collect email addresses, so include your planet's name and emblem — that's how we find the account. We complete requests within 30 days. Step-by-step instructions: Delete my data.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
10. This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics, external fonts or scripts. The hosting server (Vercel) keeps technical access logs, including IP addresses, to operate and secure the service.
11. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided data, please email devepolers@gmail.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We will announce significant changes in the update notes on Google Play. The date of the last change is always at the top of this page.
